The first look of actor Farhan Akhtar starrer Lucknow Central is out and it showcases the star behind the bars. The poster will leave you curious for the trailer of the film. The star will be seen playing the role of Mohan Girhotra in Lucknow Central. In the poster Farhan can be seen as prisoner number 1821. The film tells the story of a man who forms a band with his inmates in the jail. Actress Diana Penty will also be seen playing a prominent role in the film.
Farhan took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the first look. He tweeted, “Ye hai Kishan Mohan Girhotra .. jail mein isse 1821 bulaate hain. #LucknowCentral #firstlook #15september2017.”
This delighted all his fans, who wished him luck for the film. Along with Farhan and Diana, the film also features Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy and Rajesh Sharma in crucial roles. If reports are to be believed, Diana will be seen playing the role of an NGO worker in the film.
Lucknow Central is directed by debutant Ranjit Tiwari and is bankrolled by Nikkhil Advani. The movie is slated to release on September 15.
Farhan was last seen in Rock On 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Prachi Desai. The movie doomed at the box office.
