After staying in news for all wrong reasons, actress Kangana Ranaut is back, this time with something good. The lady these days is occupied with the work of her upcoming movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and some pictures from the shoot have found their way to internet. In the viral pictures, Kangana can be seen as warrior princess Rani Laxmibai. Needless to say, these pics are waiting wait for the film difficult.
Dressed in traditional attire and donning turban, the lady can be seen with sword in the pics.
Well, it goes without saying that another spectacular performance by the actress is waiting for the movie buffs.
This is known to all that the lady worked extremely hard for the project and even got injured during a sword-fighting scene. But, the fearless actress told new agency PTI, “I am a bit embarrassed to be thrilled to have a battle scar on my face. Also, people from my team have been telling me that it's like that Peshwa teeka that Manikarnika wore. It's a bit dramatic but I am excited that my face was covered in blood and I got a genuine and authentic glimpse of the Queen's life.”
The film is directed by K Vijayendra Prasad and also marks the big screen debut of TV actress Ankita Lokhande. The movie is set to release next year.
