Manikarnika box office collection Day 7: Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande’s film earns Rs 61.15 crore
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi featuring Kangana Ranaut received quite a positive response at the box-office. Also featuring TV actress Ankita Lokhande, Manikarnika is a biographical period drama based on the life of Rani Laxmibai. The film opened with a box-office collection of Rs 8.75 crore and it slowly took a pace.
Manikarnika earned Rs 18.10 crore on day 2, Rs 15.70 crore on day 3, Rs 5.10 crore on day 4, Rs 4.75 crore on day 5 and Rs 4.50 crore on day 6. The film made a collection of Rs 4.25 crore on Thursday and earned a total of Rs 61.15 crore till date.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh stating the day 7 collection of the film wrote, #Manikarnika scores in Week 1... The queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut is popular for stupendous performances in every kind of role she has been offered raising the bar of expectations for her audience in Manikarnika as well. She was fierce and looked every bit convincing. She effortlessly brought Manikarnikma to life on the screen.
On the other hand, television actress Ankita Lokhande looks impressive as Jhalkari Bai in the film. Ankita's dance performance in the first half of the film also sings the praises of actress's talent.
