Chennai: Filmmaker Mani Ratanm has released the first look of his much anticipated Tamil directorial "Kaatru Veliyidai". The poster, featuring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, gives a glimpse of the chemistry the lead actors will share in the film.

The storyline of the movie has been very well captured on the first poster, which has Karthi and Aditi sharing a moment as doves and a plane fly around them. In the movie Karthi plays a pilot and Aditi will be seen as a doctor.
The film will bring back the evergreen jodi of Ratnam and composer AR Rahman. Ratnam will be reportedly filming the first schedule of the movie in Kashmir.
Ravi Varman will capture the film on his lens and the genre will be romance, Ratnam’s USP.
The film will be jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Thenandal Films. The movie, reportedly, will be simultaneously made in three different languages - Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
