Making of movie Stree
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are currently riding high on the success of their latest film Stree. The horror comedy directed by debutant Amar Kaushik has impressed audience and critics alike. Shattering box office predictions, the movie minted Rs 6.82 crore on the first day and over Rs 10 crore on day 2. Numbers are expected to increase as there is no big movie releasing near future. Positive word of mouth has also contributed a lot to its business.
You have watched Stree or planning to watch it, that's a completely different thing. But you need to watch this behind-the-scenes masti of Stree cast and crew. From lead actors Rao and Kapoor to director and supporting actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurrana, everyone can be seen having fun with on the sets. They can also be seen grooving to Shah Rukh Khan songs like Kitabein Bahut Si and Ae Kash Ke Hum Hosh Mein. Stree is packed with hilarious dialogues, witty performances and spooky undertones. Written by Go Goa Gone fame Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK, Stree has been produced by Dinesh Vijan. Set in Madhya Pradesh town of Chanderi, the movie is based on a 'ridiculous' phenomenon in which a spirit named Stree whisks away men during four days of puja. While Rao plays the role of a tailor Vicky, Shraddha Kapoor is the mysterious girl, who adds to the eerie atmosphere. The movie also features Vijay Raaz, Atul Shrivastava among others.
