‘Dangal’ is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The videos of Aamir’s transformation and his Dangal girls’ struggle attracted many but people didn’t get to see actress Sakshi Tanwar in those videos. Now, superstar Aamir khan has recently shared a behind-the-scene video which is all about his on-screen wife Sakshi Tanwar.
Aamir took to Twitter to share the video. He tweeted, “What a dream to work with Sakshi!”
The video showed Aamir and Director Nitesh Tiwari heaping praise on the lady. It also unwrapped the secret how Sakshi got the break opposite one of the biggest superstars of the industry.
Nitesh revealed that it was none other than the hero who suggested Sakshi’s name. Aamir stated that he got this idea from his mother who used to watch serials and loves the actress. Nitesh on the other hand was not sure if the lady would do justice with the character of Daya Kaur.
When the ‘Bade Achche Lagte Hain’ actress got the call, she was clear that somebody was trying to play a prank on her. From her audition and the struggle to speak proper Haryanvi to the light moment on the sets, the video covered every aspect of Sakshi’s character.
When the 43-year-old actress was asked about her experience, she just said, “One day Universe decided to be generous and I became a part of Dangal.”
Based on the real life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat, ‘Dangal’ is scheduled to release on December 23.
