Naagin actress Mouni Roy, who made her Bollywood debut with the Akshay Kumar starrer Gold, seems to be getting outpouring love from the industry. After Gold, the actress will be seen in Brahmastra, RAW and Made in China. Interestingly, Made In China is scheduled to release on 15 August, 2019. Ayan Mukherji's Brahmastra with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles has also locked the same date for release.
The "Naagin" actor feels it is the unity in diversity theme that has worked in favour of the film.
"It is not just about winning gold medal but about the relationship that the characters share with each other in the film and how the story is interwoven and how team broke apart during partition and it is also highlights the importance of team spirit," Mouni Roy was quoted as saying to IANS in an earlier interview.
Made in China
The shooting for Made in China has commenced from September 11 in Ahmedabad. The makers have shared the picture of the clapboard of the first shot that also confirms the release date of the film. Check out trade analyst Taran Adarsh's tweet on the same.
According to reports, Made In China will see Rao play a struggling Gujarati businessman and chronicle his journey to the top. The film therefore, will be shot in Ahmedabad and China. Speaking about the film, Vijan had earlier said, "Raj is a versatile and highly credible actor. He has done a fabulous job in Stree. When he was working on that film, we narrated this concept to him and let’s just say he refused to let it go!"
Musale is a National Award-winning filmmaker who had helmed the critically acclaimed film Wrong Side Raju. He will be making his Bollywood debut with Made In China.
Brahmastra
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, 'Brahmastra' also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Tollywood star Nagarjuna. The flick, produced by Karan Johar will hit the big screens on August 15, 2019.
