Filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi passes away at 64

Bollywood Filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi, who was known to make films like Rudaali and Chingari, passed away on Sunday morning after a year-long battle with kidney cancer. Actress Huma Qureshi tweeted early morning that Ms Lajmi died at about 4.30 am. She wrote, “Deeply saddened... at around 4:30 am today morning #KalpanaLajmi passed away .. May she rest in peace.”

The filmmaker was detected with Kidney cancer last year and Bollywood celebrities like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan and Neena Gupta helped her financially to get it cured. Close friends from Bollywood Soni Razdan also expressed her sadness in a tweet, she wrote, “Our dear beloved friend Kalpana Lajmi has gone to a better place. RIP my darling Kalpan. I shall miss you so terribly.”

After Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar and others, Janhvi and Khushi accepted the challenge and tried their luck at threading the needle. Can you guess who won? Well, its Janhvi Kapoor!

Dhadak girl Janhvi Kapoor shared a video on her social media in which she is seen trying her hands on the Sui Dhaaga challenge with sister Khushi Kapoor. In the video, it is seen that Janhvi was quick to guide the thread into the needle and evidently surprised that she was able to do it in less than a second. The actress further nominated her Dhadak co-star Ishaan Khatter for the challenge and also asked Aayush Sharama and Warina Hussain to do the challenge as well.

Abhishek Bachchan opens up about daughter Aaradhya, says she is free to choose her career

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is back onscreen with his just-released film Manmarziyaan. While the film failed miserably at the box-office, Junior Bachchan managed to charm the viewers yet again with his phenomenal screen presence and acting. Not just the viewers but Abhishek’s family loved the film as well. However, the actor has declared that he won’t do any film that he thinks his daughter Aaradhya would feel awkward watching.

We all know how much Abhishek and Aishwarya love their little daughter Aaradhya. This doesn’t come as a surprise that dotting father Abhishek wants to chose his next project keeping his daughter in mind. Abhishek has said in a statement, "I will now choose whatever work I do in professional career based on Aaradhya. I would not personally, currently, like to make a film which I feel Aaradhya would feel awkward watching."

"As far as Aishwarya and I are concerned, be it tomorrow, twenty years down the line or whenever, whatever she decides, we will support her no matter what. That's what our parents did for us as well. As a parent you want the best for your child. What she decides to do is completely her choice. We will never weigh down on her, that this is what we expect you to do. We would be proud of her regardless of what she becomes," he added.

While Kartik Aaryan earned accolades from all corners for his portrayal of a tortured boyfriend in the first two-part, the leading lady Nushrat Bharucha reveals that the third installment of the series will tell the story from a girl’s point of view.

According to the reports in BollywoodLife, Nushrat Bharucha talked in length about the third part of the movie and said that the script is not locked yet but it will have a girl telling the story. She said, "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3 is more than exciting for me because I was told the third installment will be from the girl's point of view. So, finally I will have redemption and I will have revenge that was said to me."

Isn’t it exciting? The first two part of the movie had already garnered millions of fans and we are eagerly waiting for PKP 3. Nushrat also confessed that when the movie will go on floors is not decided yet.
