Bollywood actress an author Soha Ali Khan turned a year older today and the diva celebrated her birthday with family members close friends including Kunal Kemmu, Neha Dhupia, Karan Johar, Rannvijay Singha, Priyanka Singha, Arshad Warsi, Maria Goretti, Sophie Choudry, Shruti Seth, Gaurav Kapur and others. Meanwhile, ahead of Loveyatri release, a special screening of Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain's the film was organised in Mumbai last night. Have a look at more entertainment news below.

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore’s darling daughter Soha Ali Khan, who is a Bollywood actress and an author celebrates her 40th birthday today. Soha made her Bollywood debut with Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia starrer Dil Maange More in 2004. And she proved her niche in Bollywood with series of films including Ahista Ahista, Khoya Khoya Chand, Rang De Basanti, Tu Mile, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster.

Later, Soha turned an author and penned her own experiences in the book titled The Perils of Being Moderately Famous. As Soha turned a year older today, here we share a glimpse of her pre-birthday bash. Soha celebrated her special day with her hubby Kunal Kemmu and close friends from the film fraternity.

Loveyatri screening: Arpita Khan Sharma, Iulia Vantur, Sonakshi Sinha and others attend

Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma’s Bollywood debut film Loveyatri is all set to hit silver screen on October 5. Aayush’s Loveyatri, which is produced by Salman, also features model turned actress Warina Hussain. The impressive trailer of Loveyatri received positive response of audience.   

And ahead of the film release a special screening of Loveyatri was organised in Mumbai last night. The screening was attended by many close friends of Salman.

Priyanka Chopra welcomes Unicef chief in India

Desi girl Priyanka Chopra, who along with her fiance Nick Jonas was recently captured in Jodhpur, has welcomed Unicef Executive Director Henrietta H. Fore on her maiden trip in India. Interestingly, Bollywood actress is also a global Unicef Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights. 

"As part of Unicef's continued global efforts to make the world a better place for children, Unicef Executive Director Henrietta Fore is visiting India for the first time. Welcome Unicef Chief, so glad to have you here and I hope your visit is a good and productive one," Priyanka tweeted on Wednesday. 

Priyanka has worked with Unicef since 2006 and was appointed as the national and global Unicef Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights in 2010 and 2016, respectively. She promotes various causes such as environment, health and education, and women's rights and is particularly vocal about gender equality and feminism.

After Baazaar, Saif Ali Khan to star in Nitin Kakkar's Jawani Janeman

Saif Ali Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film Baazaar, will next pair up with Nitin Kakkar for his project titled ''Jawani Janeman''. Saif's next ''Jawani Janeman" is a light-hearted family drama.

The film will be directed by Nitin Kakkar of "Filmistan" fame. According to a press release, Saif will produce the film under his banner Black Knight Films along with Northern Lights Films.

"Saif and I have always chatted about producing films together. We were on the lookout for the right script and with 'Jawaani Jaaneman' we found that," Jay Shewakramani, of Northern Lights Films, said in a statement. The film will go on floors in 2019.

Baahubali star Rana Daggubati, who impressed fans with his superb performance in SS Rajamouli's historical saga, is all set to work for the aspiring filmmakers and writers. Rana will mentor a team that will help aspiring filmmakers and writers develop their ideas into workable scripts that can be taken to producers and actors.
