The D-day has finally arrived and Bollywood’s most gorgeous pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to tie the nuptial knot in Italy today. DeepVeer will get hitched in few hours in a traditional ceremony at the CastaDiva, Resort and Spa, Lake Como, Italy. Ahead of the D-day, grand mehendi and sangeet ceremony of the couple took place on Tuesday.
Although, the wedding festivities are taking place amid tight security, a report surfaced that Deepika broke down during the sangeet ceremony and Ranveer as always stood by her side and gave her a tight hug.
A report of Pinkvilla stated that Deepika got emotional during the Shubha Mudgal ceremony. Seeing this, Ranveer walked up to her and hugged her. He made Deepika smile again.
Dhanush announces new film with Pariyerum Perumal director
Dhanush is in awe of Mari Selvaraj work 'Pariyerum Perumal'. The actor-filmmaker is excited to work with him and he took to twitter to announce that he will next team up with Mari Selvaraj, the director of critically-acclaimed film 'Pariyerum Perumal', for a new yet-untitled Tamil project.
Pa. Ranjith produced 'Pariyerum Perumal', which chronicles caste issues in Tamil Nadu and shook the viewers with its raw presentation, was widely appreciated.
In his tweet, Dhanush revealed he finally watched the film and that he was blown away by it.
He wrote: "Finally watched 'Pariyerum Perumal'. Mind blown. The rawness and lifestyle shown is so real it feels you are there."

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has kept everyone on toes as they enjoy their Mehendi ceremony in the beautiful locales of Lake Como, Italy. The duo is all set to tie the know on November 14 and 15, but before that, the couple had a Phool Muddi ceremony, a Konkani tradition engagement ceremony, and exchanged rings with each other on November 12.
According to the reports in Spotboye, “The first tradition that took place in Italy yesterday was Phool Muddi (a traditional Konkani Engagement ceremony). It’s an official engagement kind of thing where the to-be-bride Deepika Padukone’s father welcomed Ranveer Singh and his family, gave him a coconut, and made him sit and wash his feet. After that Deepika and Ranveer officially exchanged rings. The couple's smiles widened, and touch wood, we feel elated when love stories triumph.”
