After Bharat, Salman Khan will be seen playing the role of a detective in Atul Agnihotri's movie. Atul Agnihotri, the co-producer of Bharat made an announcement that Salman Khan will play the role of a detective in the official remake of 2015 Korean movie, 'Veteran'.

Bollywood actor Vidya Balan has been roped in to play the role of math genius Shakuntala Devi in her next, to be directed by Anu Menon. Set for summer 2020 release, the film will be produced by Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment. Shakuntala Devi, the mathematical wizard, was known for her ability to make incredibly swift calculations. Shakuntala's genius was first discovered at the age of 5, when she solved a math problem for 18-year-old students. 

"I am extremely excited to play the 'human computer' Shakuntala Devi on the big screen. She was truly someone who embraced her individuality, had a strong feminist voice and braved many a naysayer to reach the pinnacle of success," Vidya said in a statement. "But what truly fascinates me is that you wouldn't normally associate a fun person with math...and she completely turns that perception on its head."

Deepika Padukone was seen in a yellow outfit complimenting it with an overcoat. However, netizens managed to spot the bulging belly of the actress. There have been speculations around Deepika Padukone's pregnancy. Though there is no confirmation on the same.

Parineeti Chopra will head to England, where she pursued her studies, for two months to shoot the official remake of the acclaimed Hollywood film "The Girl on the Train". She is looking forward to all work, and no play. She will head there mid-July. "I am super excited to be shooting this film because this is a role that I have never experienced before, read before and I think the audience has never experienced this kind of acting piece from me. It's a complete contrast to the kind of personality that is associated with me, so I am excited as an actor to do something completely new," Parineeti said in a statement.

One schedule of the film will be shot there. "For me to remain in the mood and for the crew to remain in the flow of things we decided to shoot this film in one schedule in England. We will be going in July. Usually, England is always a holiday spot for me but this time it's going to be like school.

Once again, Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan's films are standing face to face against each other at the box office. While Super 30 was saved from getting clashed with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, it's going to face Kangana Ranaut's another film Mental Hai Kya at the BO. After being deferred from June release, Ekta Kapoor's production Mental Hai Kya will now release on July 26. Despite the clash, the makers of Super 30 are determined to release the Hrithik Roshan starrer on the same day itself.

Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram stories to share a video of him celebrating Natasha Dalal’s birthday at mid night. Going by the video, it appears that the couple is surrounded by their close friends and family as Natasha cut her birthday cake. The people around sing her the birthday song as she blows the candles. Varun had come out in the open about his relationship with Natasha a while back and ever since the two have made many public appearances together. Talking to Mumbai Mirror about the next song from Bharat, Ali Abbas Zafar revealed, "Usually in such set ups in Hindi films, you see the boy teasing the girl, but because Katrina's character (Kumud, also called Madam Sir) here is strong as Salman's ( the titular Bharat), the whole song was written from the point of view of women teasing the men". The track is said to be set up in the 1980s. Further revealing the details, Zafar said, "Irshad Kamil has beautifully captured the flavour in his words. Just imagine if Didi Tera Devar Dewaana (from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun) was reversed with Madhuri Dixit and Salman switching places.. that's what our song is. The brief was to create a peppy dance number with entire family shaking a leg."

Anand Ahuja took to his social media to share 'shoefies' with wife and best friend Sonam Kapoor on first wedding anniversary. A year ago, on the same day, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony. The wedding is touted to be the most fun Bollywood wedding to this day. On their first anniversary, Anand Ahuja ditched the traditional method to wish his wife on social media. Instead, he shared a bunch of shoefies (selfies of shoes) and wrote an emotional note for his best friend Sonam Kapoor.
