Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter to share the first pictures of his look from the film Chehre. He shared a picture in which he can be seen sitting in darkness and wrote, “T 3161 – Another meter down .. started new film with Rumi Jafry .. “CHEHRE” .. a long standing commitment, now fructifying ..” He also shared a few more glimpses of his character in his blog and wrote, “Just a few glimpses of CHEHRE, the film I started for Rumi Jafry .. a long standing commitment .. and happy that I was able to honour it .. … shhhh … not to be discussed with all and sundry .. ok ..more on this later in the day .. if in good mood after the IPL final .. Bollywood trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh shared the latest numbers of Sridevi’s film Mom and wrote, “#Mom is trending better than #Hichki in #China, but will #Mom have a consistent run like #Hichki is to be seen... Biz witnessed an upward trend on Day 2... Needs to maintain the pace on Day 3... Fri $ 1.68 mn, Sat  2.18 mn$. Total: $ 3.86 million [Rs 27.01 cr].”

Going by the report in Mid-Day, after giving hits like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Luka Chuppi, kriti Sanon is confident that she can shoulder a film all by herself. A source close to the development told the news portal, "While Kriti had already signed Housefull 4 and Arjun Patiala last year, she has now come on board Amar Kaushik's surrogacy film that will be produced by Dinesh Vijan. For the budget that Luka Chuppi was made in, it emerged as a hit, making a fair amount of profit for Vijan. Since Kaushik's film on surrogacy has Sanon's character taking the narrative forward, she will be required to do most of the heavy lifting."

The latest buzz has it that Shah Rukh will be seen as Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif as Hema Malini in the remake of 1982 action comedy film Satte Pe Satta. The original film was based on the American musical film Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Amitabh Bachchan played a double role in the film, that of the eldest brother and his look-alike. In a recent social media post, Bollywood trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel wrote: “Satte Pe Satta remake featuring SRK is on cards as per strong hearsay in trade. Farah Khan might direct it. All rumours until things get official.”
