Many Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone took to social media to wish Katrina on her special day. Instead of indulging in lavish celebrations with her industry friends, the Tiger Zinda Hai actress flew to England to usher in her birthday with her family. After wrapping up the Dabanng Tour in US, she went straight to London to spend some quality time with her family. From London, the entire Turcotte family went to a picturesque countryside location to celebrate her birthday.
Vicky Kaushal injures right arm while shooting for Uri in Serbia
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, who enthralled the audience with his performance in Sanju, got injured while shooting for his upcoming film Uri in Serbia. The 30-year-old injured his right arm badly while filming for an action scene for his upcoming film with Yami Gautam, which is based on the infamous Uri attacks. However, despite the injury, the Raazi actor decided to go on with the schedule after taking a short break. He returned to Mumbai for a few days.
Indian Film Festival of Melbourne: Rani Mukerji, Rajkumar Hirani and Vicky Kaushal to attend IFFM
A galaxy of stars including Freida Pinto, Rani Mukerji, Vicky Kaushal, Ram Charan, Richa Chadha, RajKumar Hirani, Ali Fazal, Simi Grewal and Malaika Arora will attend this year's Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) to be held from August 10 to 22.
Announcing the details of the fest, the IFFM director Mitu Bhowmick Lange said this year the festival will screen over 60 movies in 22 languages during the 12 day long program with Tabrez Noorani's film "Love Sonia" as its opening night film.
Soorma producer Chitrangada Singh: Diljit Dosanjh starrer a result of more than two years hard work
Actor Chitrangada Singh, who turned producer with sports biopic Soorma is happy that the film, which revolves around the life of hockey player Sandeep Singh, has been embraced by the audiences. The film, according to the producers, has collected Rs 13.90 crore at the box office in its first weekend. Soorma released on July 13.
"It's a brand new feeling!! To finally see two and a half years of patience and passion on screen. What makes it more emotional is the response the story of Sandeep Singh is getting,'' said Chitrangada.
