Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are collaborating with Ali Abbas Zafar for the third time and this time it is more special. Bharat is one of the much-awaited movies of 2019 and there is already a lot of buzz about it. To keep the buzz going, makers have announced that Bharat teaser will be releasing soon and if reports are anything to go, it will be dropped on Republic Day of India, January 26. We want to change names in our country, not system, says Emraan Hashmi
Emraan Hashmi fails to see any "logic" in the now revised title of his film, "Why Cheat India" and the actor believes the move reflects a mindset in the country where people are more invested in changing names and not the system.The makers of the film had said the Central Board of Film Certification had objected to the original title -- "Cheat India" -- saying it was misleading. After thorough discussions with the board, producers changed the title to "Why Cheat India", almost a week before its release this Friday. "In our country, we don't want to change the system. We just want to change names as it's the easiest thing to do. Sit in the comfort of your room, change names but don't go out and change the system because that takes a lot of work," Emraan told PTI. Omung Kumar B starts preparations for PM Modi biopic
Filmmaker Omung Kumar B has started recce for his next which is a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The filmmaker visited places in Gujarat where the political leader spent his childhood days. His pictures from the state have surfaced on social media. Have a look:
As PM Narendra Modi gets ready to go on the floors, Omung and his team are travelling through the length and breadth of Gujarat to finalise the locations where they will be shooting. "Omung was seen visiting lanes in Ahmedabad, the houses in Vadnagar where Modiji lived since childhood and the House of MG, a heritage hotel in Ahmedabad," a source from the production team said. Shah Rukh Khan not quitting Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, confirms writer Anjum Rajabali
After Zero, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next project titled Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. Earlier, there was confusion that post failure of Shah Rukh’s film Zero, he won’t be part of the film Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. Recently, the Zero star hinted of being part of Rakesh Sharma's biopic. But rumours were making rounds that due to not so good performance of his film Zero, Shah Rukh would quit Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala production film. Reports were also making rounds that he would rather opt Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.
Interestingly, Saare Jahaan Se Achcha writer Anjum Rajabali recently talking to a web portal confirmed that the news of Shah Rukh quitting the film is fake. She said, "It is fake news." Full story here.
