Ranveer Singh to be trained by maestro Kapil Dev himself for his biopic titled 83?

Ranveer Singh is ruling the headlines these days as the release of his next Bollywood film Gully Boy nears. The actor has surprised his fans yet again with a different role as a rapper in the Zoya Akhtar’s directorial and he is evidently proud of it. Ranveer is on cloud nine after witnessing the response to his just-released song Apna Time Aayega from the film. Amis all the craziness and buzz around Gully Boy, the actor has also started preparing for his next film 83 which is based on maestro Kapil Dev’s biopic. While it was said that Ranveer will be trained under Balwinder Singh Sandhu, ow the reports suggest that Haryana Hurricane Kapil Dev himself will train Ranveer.

Going by the reports in BollywoodLife, an informer revealed, “Ranveer’s cricket coaching will be with Balwinder Singh Sandhu - also a key member of the 1983 World Cup winning squad. While Sandhu and Ranveer will work rigorously to perfect the game, Ranveer will also train with the legend Kapil Dev! Kapil will coach him to perfect his iconic bowling action and Ranveer will work with him to pick up all his mannerisms on and off the field! We can’t wait to see them together hitting the nets!”

Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey were ruling the headlines for a while as the rumour of them dating started popping up. While the duo never really confirmed anything or hinted at it, they were often seen together for brunch and dates. However, the real reason can be that since they are doing a Bollywood film together, they were catching up with each other to bring in a good camaraderie. Yes, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey will be seen together in the remake of Pati, Patni Aur Who.

Just like Sara Ali Khan, Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey has already signed her second film even before her first film saw the light of the day. Going by the reports in DNA, a source revealed, “Ananya has been signed on for the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake, which is being produced by Juno Chopra. She will essay the role that was portrayed by Ranjeeta Kaur in the original. The idea is to make it a modern version of the classic with a young cast. The makers wanted someone cute as well as glamorous for the part and she fit the bill. When the script was narrated to her, she was in splits and gave bulk dates, almost immediately.”

After Bharat, Disha Patani to join Salman Khan in Kick sequel?

Bollywood diva Disha Patani has emerged as one of the top actresses of the film industry. With just a bunch of films to her credit, the actress has made her mark in Bollywood and all big filmmakers of B-Town desire to work with her. After giving a blockbuster film like Baaghi 2 with rumoured boyfriend Tiger Shroff, Disha is currently shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat along with Salman Khan. Now the buzz has it that she will join the superstar for his superhit film Kick sequel as well.

Going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror, a source revealed to the tabloid that Disha Patani is in the running for the female lead of the 2014 action-thriller film. Kick marked the directorial debut of Sajid Nadiadwala and after working with Disha on Baaghi 2, the director is much interested to rope the actress in for Kick sequel. The source also revealed that Disha and Sajid are in talks about other scripts as well and, “One of them is Baaghi 3, which is being scripted but is definitely in the pipeline.” The makers have already announced the release date of Baaghi 3 with tiger shroff in the lead. When asked about Disha’s character committing suicide in Baaghi 2, the makers reasoned out the third part of the franchise will not pick up from the second but will be a new story.

Earlier in a statement, Disha Patani revealed that she is yearning for strong female roles as she is getting trained under martial arts and celebrity action-trainer Rakesh Yadav. Now, which script will Disha chose, only time will tell. For now, fans are excited about her upcoming film with Salman Khan, Bharat, which also stars Katrina Kaif. It is rumoured that Disha will be playing the role of Salman’s sister in the film.

During the chat, Karisma spoke about staying relevant, how she manages to be radiant, her role model and the pressure of making a comeback in the industry, said a statement.

When asked who her role model was, Karisma told Kareena: "Today, you are my role model. We are in the same profession, and the kind of strength we offer to each other is amazing. Apart from you, our mom has been an inspiration who single-handedly raised us so well." The daughters of veteran actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, Karisma and Kareena are six years apart.

Indian 2 first look: Kamal Haasan returns with his last film, starts shooting January 18

The makers of the second installment of the blockbuster film Indian 2 unveiled the first look of the much-awaited Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2. Just like in Indian, in the poster released, Kamal Haasan seems to be ready to take on the fight against corruption as well as the system. Sharing the poster of Indian 2 on Twitter, Shankar wrote, “#indian2 Hi everyone! Happy Pongal.” It was on Kamal Haasan's 64th birthday that Lyca Productions officially announced Indian 2 and left the fans surprised. The film will mark the reunion of Shankar and Kamal after two decades.
