It's definitely not a Happy New Year 2019 for Bollywood. The Indian film industry lost one of the most legendary actors Kader Khan today. The celebrated actor, comedian, screenwriter and most 'compassionate human being' breathed his last at the age of 81 in Toronto, Canada. Born in Kabul, Khan made his acting debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s Daag and went on to act in over 300 films. He also wrote dialogues for over 250 movies, with his first film as a dialogue writer being Randhir Kapoor-Jaya Bachchan’s Jawani Diwani. As a screenwriter, Khan frequently collaborated with Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra.
Kader Khan Death News: Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan passes away at 81 after prolonged illness
The 81-year-old was transferred from a regular ventilator to a special BiPAP ventilator after he complained of breathlessness, following pneumonia. The news was shared by a family member with news agency IANS on Tuesday morning. Earlier, the rumours of his death started doing rounds on the social media which were dismissed by his son Sarfaraz who was by his ailing father's side in Canada.
