Priyanka took to her Instagram and shared a sizzling hot picture from her wedding after party in which the duo is seen posing in Bollywood style. In the picture, Nick Jonas has lifted his wife PeeCee in his arms as the two forget the world looking in each other’s eyes. The actress shared the picture saying, “Having our family and friends share our special day with us meant so much…the smiles, the words, the love and the hugs – all so thoughtful. Meghna Gulzar ropes in Vikrant Massey to star opposite Deepika Padukone in next film titled Chhapaak

After taking a break this year post-Padmaavat, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is all set to treat her fans with yet another powerful film which is based on an acid attack survivor. While the rumours were rife that actor Rajkummar Rao might play the lead role in the film but now it is confirmed that Vikrant Massey will be seen opposite the actress in Laxmi Agarwal’s biopic. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is titled as Chhapaak.

Going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror, Vikrant Massey will play the lead opposite Deepika and the director Meghna Gulzar has herself confirmed the news. She reportedly said, “The cast is slowly coming together. Vikrant is somebody I’ve wanted to work with since Raazi, after seeing him in A Death in the Gunj. In the film, he plays a North Indian boy who used to be a professional before he decided to become an actor, then, started a campaign against acid violence which is how he came to meet Laxmi in real life. I speak for both Deepika and myself when I say that we are both really excited to have Vikrant play this part.”

Meghna also spilled the details about the film. She revealed that Chhapaak will be shot in Mumbai and Delhi and prosthetics tests are underway. Talking about the film, she said that during the research for the film the only person who came to her mind to play the lead role is Deepika. Meghna Added, “It was that organic because it’s such a moving story. And the decision to co-produce the film with her also happened organically because I wanted to remain close to it through the entire process.”

Ranveer Singh reveals he always dreamt of winning award with Deepika Padukone besides as wife

Ranveer Singh impresses the masses with his stellar performance as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Not just the fans bit even critics were all over him for his portrayal of this negative character. As the award season start, Ranveer Singh bagged the Best Actor award at the recently held Star Screen Awards. A video clip from the ceremony went viral on the internet which showed his wife Deepika Padukone teary-eyed as he received the award.

Talking about the same while promoting his upcoming Rohit Shetty film Simmba, Ranveer Singh said, “I always had this dream that one day Deepika would be sitting next to me and I would be married to her. They would call my name for best actor. I would turn to her, kiss her, go up on stage and receive my award. And it happened. It was pretty magical.” The actor also revealed that it was natural for Deepika to get emotional after the testing experience of Padmaavat.

By his own admission, the actor is loving this new phase of life and recommends marriage to all. In one of teh interviews he said, “She calls me asking when I'm coming home, what l want for dinner. Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar and others meet PM Modi to discuss issues faced by film industry

A delegation representing the Indian film and entertainment industry met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday, and pitched for lower and uniform rates of GST for the fraternity. Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, filmmakers Karan Johar and Rakesh Roshan, Censor Board chief Prasoon Joshi and Producers Guild of India President Siddharth Roy Kapur were a part of the delegation that met Modi.

According to a PIB statement, the delegation gave Modi an overview of the vast growth potential of the media and entertainment industry in India, and said that this sector is poised to contribute in a significant way towards the Prime Minister's vision for making India a five trillion dollar economy in the near future.

The film fraternity members even pitched for lower, and uniform rates of GST, for the entertainment industry in India, apart from calling for the development of Mumbai as the global entertainment capital, through various initiatives and proactive approaches.

Modi said the Indian entertainment industry enjoys immense popularity across the world. It is one of the key elements of India's rising soft power status, globally, he added. He assured the delegation that the Union Government is supportive of the media and entertainment industry, and would consider the suggestions positively. This is the second such meeting in the year after a delegation met Modi in Delhi in October.
