Kangana Ranaut has begun preparations for her film Panga, in which she will be essaying the role of a Kabaddi player. On the other hand, Rani Mukerji is all set to feature in Mardaani 2, a sequel to her 2014 hit. Rani Mukerji announces next project, Mardaani 2
Rani Mukerji is all set to reprise her role of Shivani Shivaji Roy, senior inspector, crime branch. Yes, you guessed it right. Rani's next project is Mardaani 2, a sequel to her 2014 critically acclaimed hit, Mardaani. The cop drama was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and revolved around child trafficking.
The sequel is produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films is starting the Mardaani franchise with the project. Mardaani 2 will be directed by Gopi Puthran, the writer of the first film. Read full story

Soon after completing Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Kangana Ranaut is all busy shooting for her next, Panga. The first schedule of Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial which revolves around Kabaddi players was recently wrapped up in Bhopal. Now, the team has taken a break of around a month-and-a-half to give time to its lead actress to train in the sports. Mani Ratnam's directorial Guru was said to be based on the life of Reliance founder Dhirubhai Ambani.
