Bollywood actress Kajol, who will be seen next in Helicopter Eela is ringing in her 44th birthday on Sunday.After making her acting debut with 'Bekhudi' in 1992, Kajol had her first commercial success with the 1993 thriller 'Baazigar'. She rose to prominence by featuring as the female lead in several top-grossing romantic flicks.
She also garnered five Filmfare Awards for Best Actress. Her highest-grossing release came with the action comedy 'Dilwale' in 2015, alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
In 2011, the Government of India awarded her with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour of the country. On the work front, Kajol will be returning to the big screen after a year with 'Helicopter Eela.'zProduced by her husband, Ajay Devgn, the film will see Kajol playing the role of a single mother, who is also an aspiring singer.
With Sanju’s success Ranbir Kapoor is the new Box Office King
With Rs 341.22 crore, Sanju has emerged as the third highest grossing film ever in the history of Bollywood. With this, Ranbir Kapoor has emerged as the new king of B-town, as his film has defeated the likes of Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai, and Aamir Khan's PK, to comfortably obtain the third spot on the box office charts.
Now, there are only two more films ahead of Sanju, which are Baahubali 2- The Conclusion (Rs 510.99 crore) and Aamir Khan’s Dangal (Rs 387.38 crore).
Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao faced paranormal experience while shooting for Stree, reveals director
Stree director Amar Kaushik says actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao faced lot of strange experiences while shooting the horror comedy. During a night shoot, the locals of Chanderi -- a town in Madhya Pradesh -- warned the team about not shooting at a street, which has been abandoned. Due to the tight schedule, the team went ahead, but faced several issues.
Throughout the night, there were a lot of unidentified technical glitches from the focus puller not being able to focus, to lights going off repeatedly to bulbs shattering.
