Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan all praises for ‘Golden Girl’ Vinesh Phogat
Vinesh Phogat brought laurels to the country as she became the first Indian woman wrestler to win an Asian Games Gold after she defeated Japan’s Yuki Irie in the 50 kilogram women’s Freestyle final. This was India’s second gold after wrestler Bajrang Punia bagged one in men’s 65kg on Sunday. Soon after her win, congratulatory messages started pouring on the social media and some of those messages came from renowned Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar.
Big B took to Twitter to congratulate Phogat and said she has made everyone proud.
On the other hand, Aamir praised Vinesh by reiterating his famous dialogue from 'Dangal', a film based on the Phogat family. He wrote, "Congratulations Vinesh for winning the Gold in the Asian Games. Nick Jonas' 'Lovebug' leave Indian orphan girls lovestruck
American singer Nick Jonas left a group of orphan Indian girls ‘lovestruck’ by singing his song ‘Lovebug’ for them, says his fiancee and actress Priyanka Chopra. Nick was in India along with his parents for a few days last week as they had flown in for his Roka ceremony with Priyanka.
During the visit, Nick and Priyanka also made time to visit the girls at the St. Catherine's orphanage here. Priyanka shared a sweet video in which Nick is singing "Lovebug" live for the girls. "12 years of knowing these girls and they get all love struck by the 'Lovebug'. Thank you Nick Jonas and our families. Thank you to the sisters and all the girls at St. Catherine's orphanage for opening your hearts to us again. I'll see you next time," the desi girl wrote on her social media.
