Friday 15 August Big releases: Gold and Satyamev Jayate in cinema halls today

With John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate and Akshay Kumar’s Gold starting their run at the box office today, the audience is welcoming both Bollywood movies with open arms, especially when it is a holiday.While Akshay Kumar has been the undisputable king at the box office with his films on the Independence Day for a few years, this time he has solid competition from his Desi Boyz co-star John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate. Did Priyanka Chopra just confirm her engagement? This picture says so

While there has been a lot of talk in B-town about global icon Priyanka Chopra and her rumoured boyfriend Nick Jonas' engagement, there is no official confirmation as of yet. However, it seems like the 'Quantico' star is ready to make it official as she recently flaunted a ring on her engagement finger.

Priyanka attended Manish Malhotra's bash on Tuesday with other Bollywood celebrities namely Raveena Tandon, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur among others.

Taking to Instagram, Raveena Tandon shared several photos from the bash with Priyanka. In the pictures, the actors can be seen sharing a light moment where Priyanka can be spotted wearing a huge rock on her ring finger.

Earlier, at two instances, Priyanka was seen hiding her ring from the paparazzi. The news of the couple's engagement came after Bollywood director Ali Abbas Zafar said that Priyanka opted out from his upcoming flick 'Bharat' in the 'Nick' of time, owing to a very "special reason".

Priyanka Chopra will make an official announcement about her engagement to Nick Jonas on August 18.

Pataakha Trailer Out: Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover film highlights Indo-Pak relation

The trailer of Vishal Bharadwaj's highly-anticipated movie, 'Pataakha' is out and it shows the relationship between two warring sisters which the director sees the perfect metaphor for two arch-rivals India-Pakistan. Starring Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan as Badki and Chhutki respectively, the flick is based on the lives of two sisters from a village in Rajasthan.

The makers of the film dropped the trailer of the film on 14th August midnight. The film shows how the two sisters engage in mutual fights, unrest, confusion, quarrel, and how they flirt with each other and look different from each other. However, when marriage separates them, the two sisters realize that they could not live without each other.
