Mumbai:Dairy co-operative major Amul has earned quite a reputation for its offbeat yet funny take on recurrent issues. Be it Sonam Kapoor‘ portrayal of Neerja or the Tanmay Bhatt video or Aishwarya's strange lip colour, Amul never ceases to amaze us with its wit and humour.
The latest to be on Dairy major's radar is none other than controversy'own child Pehlaj Nihalani, who is in the line of fire for suggesting as many as 89 cuts in Shahisd Kapoor starrer Udta Punjab.
Amul in its advertisement today showed a cartoon based on rockstar Tommy Singh (Shahid Kapoor), a doctor (Kareena Kapoor Khan), a policeman (Diljit Dosanjh) and the Amul girl.The caption given to the ad reads: "Ladta Pahlaj"
They all look puzzled at a pair of scissors, symbolising the multiple cuts that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has demanded from the Abhishek Chaubey directorial.

Co-produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures, "Udta Punjab" is scheduled to be released on June 17.

The film fraternity has come out in support of the makers of the film who are at loggerheads with the Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani, who has got off on the wrong foot.
