The ongoing season of ‘Koffee with Karan’ grabbed many eyeballs because of multiple reasons. From Twinkle Khanna and Sania Mirza’s debut to Ranbir and Ranveer coming together for the first time, the show was a treat to movie buffs. But, it seems that filmmaker Karan Johar is not satisfied with celebrities’ performance on the show.
The ace director recently revealed that unlike previous seasons, this time celebrities were more cautious about their answers as they didn’t want to land in controversies. He further stated that every word, these days, the stars speak becomes headlines. Thus, this time they were more anxious about it.
KJo went on to say that whatever stars say might prove to be advantageous for the show but it could hurt their own image. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director said, “The show is an irreverent, casual watch and not every word should be over-analysed. Sometimes people take things in a wrong manner, but I am sure no one is sitting on that couch to offend anyone.”
Though, celebrities did their best on the show giving viewers many moments to laugh. Be it was Ranbir and Ranveer’s dance performance on ‘Chikni Chameli’ or Varun and Arjun’s impromptu skit act, the stars entertained their fans to the fullest. The premiere episode of the talk show witnessed superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt giving some witty replies to the director.
The next episode of the show will feature superstar Salman Khan along with his brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan spilling some secrets about their childhood.
