For those who have been watching re-runs of hit chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, the new season is only a few weeks from now. Premiering on November 6, the fifth season of the show has excited his ardent followers, and this new piece of information might just add to it. Reports have it that star couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna may sit on the couch in front of KJo this season.
Now this rumour is marvellous on many levels. For one, everyone knows that Tina, as Twinkle is popularly called, is best friends with KJo. So with the presence of both of them stories would be shared which could make it one of the most entertaining episodes of the show.
Secondly, Twinkle Khanna is a rare sight on screens these days. All her wit and sarcasm are constrained in her writings, so it would be nice to see her talk; just like at the launch of her book ‘Mrs Funnybones’ in which she stole all the thunder.
Thirdly, fans of Akshay will get to see him get candid on the show once again. Only this time the fun would be twice since Twinkle may sit with him.

Speaking about this, an insider told a leading daily that bringing Twinkle and Akshay was no less than a coup for KJo. Despite being approached many times, Twinkle never appeared on a television show and she might make an exception for her childhood friend.
The source added that it was Twinkle who persuaded Akshay to go on Karan’s show and this time the filmmaker has managed to convince both of them.
Well, if this turns out to be true, it will be nice to see the trio get candid on the show.
