The Kerala State Film Awards, which honours great artists and movies of the state, was announced today by Minister of state for cinema AK Balan at a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram.
While everyone’s favourite Vinayakan bagged the best actor award for his performance in Rajeev Ravi's movie “Kammatipaadam”, Rajisha Vijayan has won the best actress award for her debut movie “Anuraga Karikkin Vellam”.
It has to be noted that both the actors were selected as the best actors by Cinema Paradiso Club recently.
Dr Biju's Kaadu Pookunna Neram and Johnpaul George's Guppy have won as many as five awards, while Vinod Mankara's Kamboji has bagged four awards.
