The Tamil sensation Jiiva is all set to wow with his upcoming Tamil film Kee, which is based on hacking. The motion poster and the first look of the film has been released today and, they look intriguing all the way. In the film, Jiiva plays a student who hacks for fun, and in the process, he uncovers something very dark. Directed by debutant Kalees, Kee also features Nikki Galrani, Anaika Soti and RJ Balaji among others.
The motion poster and first look of the film was shared by actor Simbu on Twitter today. The motion poster shows an intense, brooding Jiiva in the middle of a yard littered with e-waste.
With some interesting tech-interposed background music and a dark theme, the poster is fascinating.
Director Kalees says Jiiva's sound knowledge of technology came in handy for the role."Jiiva sir is into technology. He has watched several documentaries on hacking and all that knowledge and experience came handy while shooting. He was quite kicked to play a hacker," Kalees said in a recent interview.
Asked about the film's title "Kee", the director said: "The word Kee is very popular in Tamil literature and it means everything - both positive and negative. We thought we could also use it as a metaphor for the word akey' in computer and how it can change everything."
