Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film Kedarnath featuring actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan is back on track as Ronnie Screwvala has replaced Prernaa Arora as the new producer. After the infamous fight of Abhishek and KriArj Entertainment, the fate of the movie was in danger and the shooting was also halted. Now, finally, the second schedule of Kedarnath will go on floors by April end.
Screwvala revealed to a leading daily, “Kedarnath is a great love story set against the backdrop of the powerful true-life event that affected us all during the floods in 2013. It completely matches my vision of great stories that need to be told and I can’t wait to bring this story to the audiences early next year.”
Abhishek has earlier worked with Ronnie in Kai Po Che. He stated, “After Kai Po Che, Kedarnath will be our next venture together. Ronnie is an exemplary leader and I feel invigorated that he has stepped in and reinforced his faith in me. Just being in the room with Ronnie is a privilege, making a movie with him is an honour.”
On a related note, Kedarnath marks the debut of Sara. The lady will also be seen playing a pivotal role in Ranveer Singh Simmba.
