The twenty seventh episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan started with rollover contestant Anamika Majumdar, who hails from Jharkhand. The NGO worker managed to impress Big B with her prompt answers. She earned Rs 50,00,000 in the last episode. Amitabh then asked her the question for Rs 1 crore. The tension could easily be felt at the studio. She gave the right answer and won the big amount.
The audiencs present in the studio congratulated her with a thunderous applause and her parents were also beaming with happiness. Big B, who was also very happy, gave her the opportunity to make a phone call to his daughter and share the big news.
She then faced the question for Rs 7 crore but was not sure of the answer. Thus, decided to quit the show.
Amitabh then conducted fresh fastest figure fast and Dhanya T, who is a banker by profession, got the opportunity to sit on the hot seat and play the game. The contestant took home Rs 1,60,000. She utilised all her lifelines so was not able to answer the question for Rs 3,20,000.
