New Delhi: To be helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, a lot has been written and said about the biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt. When Hirani announced that Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Sanju Baba in the biopic, he got cine buffs excited.
Now, fresh reports surfaced a few days ago that actress Katrina Kaif will be playing the role of Sanjay’s wife Manyata in the movie. This, furthermore, got many into thinking mode due to a lot of reasons.
First, the break up of Ranbir and Katrina, secondly, the fact that few reports suggested that they would not like to work with each other post ‘Jagga Jasoos’. But, these reports told a different story.
However, as it turns out, rumours were all they were. A leading entertainment portal got in touch with Rajkumar Hirani and he denied roping in Kat for the biopic.

Rajkumar Hirani said,
“This news is not all true. I am yet to cast an actress for the film.”
This clears the air, pretty much!
RK and his ex lady love Katrina Kaif, will be soon seen in Jagga Jasoos. This Anurag Basu directorial has been delayed multiple times owing to many reasons. Once it was Kat’s busy schedule, then the problems between the lead pair and then Kat’s drastic weight loss troubled the makers who decided on using VFX to maintain the continuity of the movie.
It is being reported that RK will start shooting for the movie soon.
