Actress Katrina Kaif, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ got hurt on the sets of the film. Thus, she will not be performing in an upcoming award show. The news was confirmed by Katrina’s spokesperson.
If reports are to be believed, then while filming Anurag Basu directorial venture a heavy object landed on Katrina’s neck that injured her. The doctor has advised her to take proper rest and warned her against any type of physical activity or exertion.
So, Katrina had to cancel her performance in the award show. Her spokesperson stated that the lady won’t be able to perform at the event due to injury and will soon resume the work.
Katrina’s spokesperson said, “This is to clarify that Katrina Kaif will no longer be performing at the Zee Cine Awards, due to an injury she met with on the sets. The doctors have advised her rest and to strictly avoid any strenuous physical activity or exertion. Katrina is extremely dissapointed that she was not able to work through the injury. She is recuperating and will resume work shortly after a period of rest.”
Well, as per the latest hearsay, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will replace Katrina in the award show. However, nothing is official on the same.
