New Delhi: Bollywood actress Karisma Kapur was granted divorce on June 13 after a long legal battle with estranged husband Sanjay Kapur. Apparently, the ex-couple had various issues with one another, primary being reported as Sunjay's infidel ways. In the judgment, court has given custody rights of their children Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Raj Kapur to Karisma and only visitation rights to Sunjay.
Now, as Karisma is over the ugly battle, she is gathering the pieces and looking to start afresh. Interestingly, it’s been a while that reports have been rife of the ‘Biwi No. 1’ actress finding new love after the sour relationship with Sunjay.
As per buzz, she is currently dating Sandeep Toshniwal - CEO of a Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company.
However, what has raised eyebrows in this tale is the fact that Sandeep was already married and got divorced only recently, with Sandeep’s growing proximity with Karisma being pegged as the primary reason behind the drift in his marriage.
This piece of information is apparently based on the Toshniwal’s divorce petition.
It reads, “In the order dated 9 November 2012 the Family Court had specifically held that access outside the matrimonial home at any other place was not advisable, on the prima facie finding that the Respondent was in an intimate relationship with a person other than his wife”.
Sandeep and his wife Ashrita have two daughters together. Reportedly, Ashrita was finding it hard to win custody as Sandeep is known to be a doting father. However, the petition says she asked the court to provide her full custody of children and only visiting rights to Sandeep that too inside the matrimonial home (where the ex-couple lived).
Interestingly, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma recently celebrated Sandeep’s birthday in Thailand, which pretty much indicates where things are going. However, Karisma and Sandeep have so far not been clicked together.
