New Delhi: Ex-flames Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor set the tongues wagging when they signed a movie together for the first time post their break-up.

We are talking about Abhishek Choubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ also starring Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt. The movie already became one of the most anticipated movies of the year owing to its star cast.

And soon it created a sensation after the makers released a power-packed trailer. What else raised the eyebrows was the presence of Kareena and Shahid on the same stage.

Interestingly, the ex-couple have never spotted at the same stage ever since they parted ways mime years ago. However, seeing them together at the trailer launch of ‘Udta Punjab’ was quite exciting.

But it seems that Bebo and Shahid were not much comfortable with each other. Reportedly, the two were not in a mood to come together for the trailer launch. However they did so after being insisted by Abhishek Choubey and Ekta Kapoor, but on the condition that they won’t give any more interviews together thereafter.

“Word coming out of Phantom Productions and Balaji Telefilms, the film’s co-producers, is that Shahid and Kareena will not be doing joint interviews or any more appearances together. This was a one-off gesture that they agreed to make for the sake of their director Abhishek Chaubey and co-producer Ekta Kapoor, who was reportedly instrumental in coaxing Kareena to turn up,” said Rajeev Masand in one of his articles.

Interestingly, Kareena and Shahid, reportedly, doesn’t have a single scene together in ‘Udta Punjab’.

Looks like, this ex-couple still finds it a bit difficult to move over their past.

Based on the blatant drug abuse that has been going on in the state, ‘Udta Punjab’ will hit the screens on June 17.
