Kareena Kapoor Khan,

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani to feature together in Good News.

Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Dharma Productions's Good News, co-starring  Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. The movie which revolves around two couples trying for baby was recently wrapped and the star cast announced the release date with a siren vide. Good News is set to release to on September 6 and Akshay shared a video with the caption, ''Practicing the sound of #GoodNews arriving until then it’s a wrap Due date 6th September 2019!''. Everything seemed to be going fine until this news surfaced.

As per a report in Mid-Day, the four actors recently shot for a song for their slice-of-life drama film. However, after seeing the rushes of the song, Kareena felt that there was no need of Kiara and Diljit in the video of the track. As Kareena shares a close bond with Karan Johar, the filmmaker had no issues doing so. Hence, after shooting for the song, Kiara and Diljit found themselves out of the video. Though no names have been taken in the report, the publication has dropped enough hints for us to guess whom they are talking about. Reportedly the song from which the two young stars have been ousted is Sukhbir's Sauda Khara Khara.

Earlier reports said that the stars will be grooving to the recreated version of Sukhbir's 1999 pop hit Sauda Khara Khara which had Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea in it. The remixed version has been composed by DJ Chetas.

In an interview with IANS, Akshay Kumar had shared his experience of reuniting with Kareena and working with Diljit for the first time: "Working with Bebo (Kareena) is always fun but Diljit and I get along like a house on fire, if I were to say so myself. Our Punjabi connect is amazing and I think it will show brilliantly on-screen."

Talking about her character in Good News, Kareena had said, “Hopefully it'll be a part which will be remembered because it's socially relevant. It's a strong character. The best part is it'll be completely different than what I did in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' as Poo.”  On a related note, Kareena will also be seen playing a cop in Irrfan Khan starrer Angrezi Medium. The sequel to Hindi Medium is being directed by Homi Adajania.

Earlier in an interview, Kareena called herself a ''huge fan'' of Irrfan and said that the shooting will be ''quite a surreal experience'' for her. ''It's a small but interesting part and also I think that I just wanted to get out of my comfort zone and do a movie that would throw me into a different milieu and see how it goes. Whether it's Homi or it's Irrfan and Deepak (Dobriyal), I think it's all a different world for me to be a part of so that would be interesting,'' she said.
