Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor in Ki & Ka
It’s raining good projects for Bollywood Diva Kareena Kapoor Khan. After Veere Di Wedding’s smashing success at the box office as well as amongst the audience, the actress has become a hot favourite for all the filmmakers in Bollywood. If rumours are to be true, Kareena Kapoor Khan has signed another big film which is Life In A Metro sequel to be directed by Anurag Basu.
According to a DNA source, "Kareena Kapoor Khan will reportedly feature in one of the stories and Arjun Kapoor will also be a part of one of the other plots. Their tracks are not connected is what we hear.” The report also suggests that Anurag Basu has almost finished scripting the sequel and is most likely to produce it himself. Well, if everything goes well, this will be Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s second film together after 2016 hit romance drama Ki & Ka.
Kareena is definitely at the high of her career especially after she marked her return to the industry post pregnancy. The actress already has two big films in her kitty, both from the Dharma banner. She will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Good News along with Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. On the other hand, Karan Johar announced his next big film called Takht starring Kareena, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor this morning.
The buzz also has it that after the success of Veere Di Wedding, Kareena has increased her fee to 50 per cent. Talking about Arjun Kapoor, the actor has an interesting lineup of films as well. He will be seen in Rajkumar Gupta’s India’s Most Wanted, Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat, Vipul Shah’s Namaste England and Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
