Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan created a buzz during the Lakme Fashion Week 2016 as she walked the ramp with her ‘baby’ for the first time. Bebo got really emotional about the event saying this was the first time "we were taking the ramp together".
“Everyone made this edition so special for me. For me, it’s quite an emotional moment as this was the first time we (she and her future child) took the ramp together. It was a moment to cherish," Kareena was quoted saying.
Kareena is expecting her first child in December this year and she proudly flaunted her baby bump as she turned muse for ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Kareena looked resplendent as she wore an exquisite grey, heavily embellished lehenga and kurti. Her kurti was heavily embellished in gold threadwork in an intricate Mughal-inspired pattern that was beautifully offset by the sheer lehenga with starry, glinting golden polkas peeking through, and a matching dhupatta.
And of course, adding much to her grace was her baby glow which made her look stunning as she walked the ramp.
Kareena Kapoor has indeed been quite excited about her motherhood and feels her pregnancy will never be hindrance in her career.
"I was happy and confident. Pregnant woman can walk and fly and for me it's absolutely normal. When it comes to my work, acting is my passion and I will work till I die. As long as I am doing what I love, I am going to do that," Kareena said.
