Filmmaker Karan Johar, who launched actress Alia Bhatt in Bollywood, wants her to play his best friend Twinkle Khanna in his biopic. The ace director shares a great bond with the dimpled beauty and also treats her like his daughter.
While presenting an award to the actress at a recent event, Karan called Alia his second daughter and third child. The dimpled beauty said it on a lighter note that she would love to play Karan’s mother Hiroo Johar, if a biopic is ever made on him.
KJo, instantly replied saying that Alia will not be fit for that part as she is not Sindhi. However, she would be perfect to play his long-time friend Twinkle Khanna. The ace director has many times confessed in the past that Twinkle is his closest buddy and he had a crush on her in the past.
Well, if this ever happens than it will be really interesting to watch Alia playing his mentor’s buddy in his biopic.
Alia made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ alongside actor Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. After that she starred in many movies bankrolled by Karan’s production house, Dharma Productions. She was recently seen in Gauri Shinde’s directorial venture ‘Dear Zindagi’. The film performed well at the box-office.
Karan, on the other hand is spending quality time with his two children Yash and Roohi.
