Together the duo of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have made wonderful movies. Last time Karan directed SRK was in the 2010 release ‘My Name Is Khan.’ This hit movie also featured Kajol, another elite member of the Johar camp.
Looks like the filmmaker Karan will soon work with one of his favourite muses, as he recently hinted towards.
While speaking at the recently concluded Toronto International Film Festival, Karan said that he will soon start working on something to work with SRK. He reportedly said,
“Hopefully, I will direct him soon. I will hopefully write something for him and we will collaborate soon.”

Except ‘Student Of The Year’ (2012), none of Karan’s directorial projects are sans SRK.
Recently, Karan directed Shah Rukh in his upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ in which King Khan has a cameo. During this International Film Festival, Karan had also said that it was a delight to work with Shah Rukh. He had said that since the two share an amazing rapport directing him is like a cakewalk.
SRK’s role in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is being said to be a small yet powerful one. If media reports are anything to go by, the 50-year old superstar will essay the role of actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband in the movie. It is being said that his death in the movie will prove to be a tipping point.
Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s movie whose working title is ‘The Ring’. Apart from this, he has projects with filmmakers Aditya Chopra and Aanand L. Rai in hand.
