Kapoor family is going through immense grief as the matriarch of the family Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away on Monday. She was complaining of breathlessness for a long time and on October 1st, she passed away due to cardiac arrest. After performing the last rites, the Kapoor family has organised a prayer meet for Krishna Raj Kapoor in Mumbai at Sahara Star between 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Many Bollywood celebrities are expected to turn for the prayer meet. However, Rishi Kapoor and family still can’t be a part of the prayer meet as they are stationed in the US for the actor’s treatment.

In the funeral, many Bollywood celebrities were present including Kareena Kapoor Khan, husband Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan among others. Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt were also present. In fact, Alia was continuously in contact with Ranbir Kapoor on face-time, so that he could be a part of his grandma’s last journey.
