After parting ways with Kapil Sharma, stand-up comedian Sunil Grover has announced his comeback with a new comedy show. With Sunil’s comeback, speculations are rife that The Drama Company star Ali Asgar and The Kapil Sharma Show actor Kiku Sharda will join Sunil hands.
According to the reports of TOI, Krushna Abhishek’s The Drama Company co-stars Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra and many other actors from the show will also join Sunil in his new show.
Sources also informed that Sunil has already stared the shooting with Kiku. ‘’Kapil's friends (actors) who have worked with him and stood by him during thick and thin still love him. But they don't want to be associated with Kapil till the time creative control of the show is in the hands of Rajiv Dhingra. Because of the debacle of Mad In India which also had Sunil. They don't want to do any show where Rajiv is creatively involved or has an upper hand. So the entire team of actors have decided to work on another show,’’ a source close to Sunil’s new show said.
The source added, "Even after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Kapil did two not so great shows, Has Baliye and Ustaadon Ka Ustad. However, it was Comedy Circus which changed his fortune, gave him a platform and made him popular. Then came Comedy Nights with Kapil and the actor become an overnight sensation. Since then Kapil has never looked back. He has ruled the small screen since last 10 years. But with the current situation looks like Kapil's downfall has started and apparently Rajeev is to be blamed for it."
According to the reports Sunil’s new show is scheduled to be aired by next month. While Krushna’s show The Drama Company will soon go off-air as it was planned with a limited episode.
