The ultimate battle of the comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover has begun in full swing and, the entire nation can’t seem to keep calm. In such a scenario, TV celebs have come forward and expressed their opinion on the burning issue.
Comedy King Kapil allegedly assaulted and mistreated his good friend and co-actor, Sunil Grover on a flight.
Following the incident, Dr Mashoor Gulati apparently decided to call it quits with the “The Kapil Sharma Show”.
Even though Kapil apologised to Sunil through a tweet, it seemed that the latter was in no mood to forgive. Sunil retorted by writing a lengthy post on Twitter and asked him to not “act like God” all the time.
After all the hullabaloo, TV celebs reacted on the BIG clash and took sides. While some stood firmly with Sunil, others came in full support of Kapil.
Kiku Sharda aka Bumper rubbished all reports of the fight and even called Kapil a ‘sweet guy’. Yes, he did say that. He too was in the flight when the incident took place.
Chandan Prabhakar aka Chaiwalla recently opened up on the issue, and said that he wouldn’t shoot for Kapil’s show.
Speaking to a leading daily, he said, “Yes, I am not shooting with Kapil today. They called me but I refused. I told them that I am unavailable.”
What is interesting is that Chandan is Kapil’s childhood friend and he boycotting the show comes as a real surprise.
Reportedly, Chandan also faced the brunt of Kapil’s unwarranted temper and is said to have decided to quit TKSS.
Ali Asgar aka Pushpa Dadi also missed the recent shoot for the show, fresh reports suggest.
Reportedly, the show was hosting the “Naam Shabana” team and the only ones to be seen around were Kiku Sharda, Rochelle Rao and Sumona Chakravarti.
It was said that situation has worsened on day two of the shooting when Kapil’s team had to call in Ahsaan Qureshi, Sunil Pal and Raju Shrivastava for the shoot.
Views of Sumona Chakravarti are yet to be known on the issue. As she has continued on the show, seems that she has decided against taking sides.
