After a depressing phase in Kapil Sharma’s life by the dipping TRPs of The Kapil Sharma Show as his co-stars Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar left the show, here comes a sign of relief for him now. As the Sony Entertainment Television has renewed the contract of his show for one more year.
Earlier reports were surfacing that Kapil’s show might go off air due to continuous fall in the show TRP. And now there is another surprising news for Kapil’s fans as he is planning to do a show on Netflix, as per the sources.
According to the reports of the Bollywood Life, ‘’Kapil has been having meetings with Netflix India. He is very keen to do a stand-up comedy show with the digital channel. He strongly feels that digital is the future of entertainment in India. In fact, he has been having meetings with Amazon and Hotstar as well. It ultimately boils down on the moolah he will get from a particular channel. Kapil appreciates the medium because of the audience it caters to and lack of restrictions.”
Kapil’s debut in the digital world will surely spread smile on face of his fans. Meanwhile, Kapil will also be seen in a film titled Firangi also starring Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill.
