New Delhi: Actor turned comedian Kapil Sharma is a star. From humble background, his is the perfect example of rags to riches story. Though, a few days ago he was embroiled in a controversy with channel Colors; his stardom is least affected. Something, which was evident with amazing TRP ratings the first episode that his brand new show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ got.
After years in the industry, Kapil is no more the person he was and he accepts it. He says stardom has changed him and he doesn’t pay much attention to what people write about him.
While speaking to a leading daily, Kapil said earlier when people used to talk about his love life, it used to get into him but that feeling is a thing of the past.
He said,
“I used to react earlier, to people writing about my personal life and not just sticking to my professional life, but then I realised that if people don’t write about us, then who will they write about? Now, if I read about myself, I don’t react to anything. Everyone is busy doing their job and I am doing mine.”

Kapil Sharma moved on with his entire on screen family, except Bua played by Upasana Singh, into the new show which airs on Sony. And it is not only on screen that Kapil sees them as family, but treats them as his own beyond that too.
“We’ve been working together for many years. When you work in a television show, you tend to spend more time with your co-stars than your family. I am grateful to all my co-stars that they love me and have faith in me. I look at my script only after ensuring that my co-stars have the right role and space. We are nothing alone, and everything together,”
said Sharma.
The Kapil Sharma Show features Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarti and Navjot Singh Sidhu.
