Ace comedian Kapil Sharma will be seen sharing the screen space with actress Ishita Dutta in his upcoming film Firangi. The gorgeous actress recently tied the knot with actor Vatsal Sheth at Mumbai's ISKCON Temple. From Kajol-Ajay Devgn to Sohail Khan, many celebs attended the event, but Kapil gave it a miss. This left people wondering the reason behind it as the actor shares a great bond with his co-star. The comedy king has now revealed that he couldn’t attend the wedding owing to his work commitments.
In an interview to a leading entertainment portal, the comedian stated that he came to know about the marriage just few days back. He added that he couldn’t grace the function because of his work commitments. The actor told that he congratulated the lady on phone and even gave best wishes to her.
Kapil went on to say that Ishita and Vatshal make a great couple.
Ishita and Vatshal’s marriage was a big surprise to all their fans. The lady didn’t speak a word about it even during the Firangi promotions. The wedding was a private affair. The pictures of the event have been doing the rounds on social media.
On a related note, Firangi directed by Rajiv Dhingra is all set to hit the screens on December 1.
