Ace comedian Kapil Sharma has been trying hard to keep The Kapil Sharma Show running. Now, the actor has reportedly taken a huge pay cut to prevent his show from getting off-air. Ever since Sunil Grover left the show, Kapil kept struggling to achieve good TRPs but nothing worked out.
This is known to all that the actor was about to sign Rs 110 crore deal for the show but now things have changed. A source revealed that Kapil didn’t have other option and he had to say yes for a pay cut to keep the show on air adding that he is making more money with the show than the movies.
Speculations were rife that The Kapil Sharma Show will be replaced by Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum. After Sunil left the show, the TRPs started falling. Kapil tried hard to save the show by introducing new characters but all went in vain.
Recently, when a fan asked Kapil to bring Sunil back on the show, the actor replied saying that he has asked him multiple times and he can return whenever he wants.
After Kapil and Sunil’s ugly spate, the latter along with Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar left TKSS. Currently, Sunil is enjoying being a tourist in Prague and has been sharing videos from there.
