After several Bollywood celebrities have condemned the recently held Uri attacks, actress Kangana Ranaut has also spoken on the incident saying she is finding it hard not be objective at the moment.
Her statement has come days the attack which killed 18 Indian soldiers.
The actress said that it is a very distressed situation and she is quite upset with the casualties in the Indian army.
While Kangana expect that the peace will be restored soon amongst the two countries, she feels ‘we can't expect to be unbiased’.
The Uri attacks have raked up a tensed situation in India against Pakistan.
In fact, the showbiz industry couldn’t escape the effects of this enmity, as soon after the attacks Raj Thackerya let MNS demanded a ban on Pakistani actors in the country.
In fact, they had also threatened filmmaker Karan Johar and superstar Shah Rukh Khan over banning the release of their movies ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ respectively.
On the professional front, Kangana has completed shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's ‘Rangoon’.
A romantic drama set during World War II, ‘Rangoon’ also features Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead. The movie is scheduled to release in February 2017
Besides that, the 29-year-old actress has Hansal Mehta's ‘Simran’ and Ketan Mehta's biopic on Rani Laxmibai as her upcoming projects.
