Kangana Ranaut and Ankita Lokhande starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been ruling the headlines ever since it started filming but mostly for the wrong reasons. From Sonu Sood quitting the film to the script credits, the film has been surrounded by controversies even when the release date is just a week away. After dealing with all the legal troubles and controversies, Manikarnbika has found itself in another pool of troubles with Rajput caste organisation karni Sena.
The latest reports surrounding Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Manikarnika suggests that popular Rajput organisation Karni Sena is not happy with the portrayal of many scenes in the film and has demanded an explanation from the makers about everything that is shown in it related to Rani Laxmi Bai. They have asked Producer Kamal Jian to give a public explanation, however, he has failed to provide anything in the matter. This has angered the organisation and they are all set to visit him at his office today at 1pm and slap a notice regarding the same. They have even threatened to protest against the film if Kamal Jain further fails to provide any explanation infront of the media.

Other than Kanagana Ranaut’s directorial debut, the film also marks Ankita Lokhande’s Bollywood debut and she is very excited about it. Talking about all the controversies that surrounded the film, Ankita recently said in an interview, "I was confident that there will be a way out. I was sure that nothing can go wrong with my debut film. I did feel bad that it went through so many ups and downs. We have been working on this film for two years. It was essential to think positive when such things were happening.” The actress will be seen playing Jhalkari Bai, a warrior in Rani Laxmibai's army.
Kangana Ranaut and Ankita Lokhande starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is slated to release on January 25th.
