Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chadha starrer Panga to release on 24 January 2020
Kangana Ranaut is currently basking in the success of her first directorial Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which is based on the life of freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai. The actress will next be seen in Mental Hai Kya, co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga. It is for the first time that Ashwiny and Kangana have come together for a project and it is scheduled to release on 24 January 2020. The movie which is based on kabaddi also talks about family values, relationships and challenging oneself, reported Mumbai Mirror.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to announce the release date. Along with a still, he wrote, ''Release date finalised... Kangana Ranaut, Jassie Gill, Richa Chadha and Neena Gupta... #Panga to release on 24 Jan 2020... Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari... Produced by Fox Star Studios''.
Kangana and Richa underwent kabaddi training to learn the technicalities of the sport. National-level players like Gauri Wadekar, Vishwas More and Tarak Raul have trained the actors. The first schedule to the movie was wrapped in Bhopal a month back.
Talking about Kangana, film's director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari said, "Kangana and I share a beautiful relationship. I think I had one of the best times ever when I was shooting the first schedule of Panga and our love is just going to increase. It's not only her in the film. There is Richa Chadda and after few days, Pankaj Tripathi will start shooting. I shot some scenes with Neena (Gupta) ma'am. Jassi Gill is also there in the film so, it's really different environment and I am having a lot of fun shooting for the film. I am just looking forward to the release next year''.
