New Delhi: Indians’ obsession with films and cricket knows no boundaries. This means that obviously any intersection of these two sets will be legendary. News has it that soon we will see an epic casting coup- having actress Kangana Ranaut and star cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli.
Apparently, the three stars have been roped in for an ad film for upcoming T20 series.
An insider was quoted by a leading entertainment portal,
“Things are being kept under wraps as of now. But we know that the ad film will start airing during an upcoming T20 cricket series. It’ll be a one-day shoot that will take place in Mumbai on April 7.”
Raj Kumar Hirani will direct this ad film. He had directed Kangana for another ad film a few months back and it also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Actresses have starred in ad films with cricketers in the past- Anushka Sharma with Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra with Chris Gayle and Preity Zinta with Dhoni. However, this is a first-of-its-kind which will have one leading lady of tinselvile with two cricketing stars.

“This is the first time that two top names from the cricket world will be seen working with a top Bollywood actress. Kangana is looking forward to working with her new co-stars,”
added the insider.
Currently, both Dhoni and Kohli are on a break after the tiring T20 World Cup while Kangana is busy filming Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’.
“For the past few days, she has been shooting for the last schedule of director Vishal Bhardwaj’s film. It has been very hectic for her, since she has an intense role,”
told the source.
