The curly-haired beauty Kangana Ranaut is one lady who is always making headlines. Recently, her war with filmmaker Karan Johar became one of the most talked-about topics of Bollywood.
Now, the “Rangoon” actress is back with a rather ‘unpleasant’ bang! Kangana has made a decision that won’t go too well with director Ketan Mehta.
In an unexpected move of events, Ketan’s dream to make “Rani Laxmibai” has been shattered by Kangana, fresh reports suggest.
The reports further said that the filmmaker was very ambitious and keen on making the film but the actress has replaced him with Telegu director Krish, who also directed “Gabbar is Back”.
Titled “Manikarnika”, the story has been written by SS Rajmouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad who has also penned the popular film "Baahubali".
Reportedly it was said that Ketan wanted to make the film in English for an international audience but Kangana was not up for it and, decided to move ahead with the film without him.
Ketan was keen on making a film on Rani Laxmibai for years now and, wanted Sushmita Sen to play the lead role.
However, the film failed to appear back then and he was eager to revive his determined venture with Kangna.
But it seems that once again his film has faced a roadblock and now it seems unlikely that the filmmaker will make it, since Bollywood’s Queen has already decided to green light the film, without him.
The film revolves around an ordinary girl who when trapped in difficult times decides to fight her battle which is when she discovers the warrior within her.
Buzz is that Kangana will start shooting for the film this Thursday, which also happens to be her 30th birthday.
