New Delhi: The year 2016 has been quite an eventful year for the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. The lady won the National Award for best actress for her role in 2015 super hit ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. She has carved a niche for herself without the role of a Godfather and she proudly flaunts it.
The lady is quickly climbing the ladder of success; however, her name is more often linked with controversies than for celebratory reasons.
Her legal battle with Hrithik Roshan and the nasty allegations the two stars made on each other is known to all. Besides, her ex-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman too revealed some shocking details about the diva, including her black magic tricks.
And most recently, reports in the media suggested that Kangana had been lying about her age. The passport document leaked online (which went viral) allegedly showed her age as 30 but the ‘Queen’ actress was seen celebrating her 29th birthday recently.
Now, the reports suggest that Kangana has been lying about her pay check too.

It was rumoured that she charged a fee of Rs 11 crore for 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' and even for every film that she signed afterwards.
However, according to a report on Spotboye.com, the actress has been only paid Rs 3 crore for Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon.'
Though, the source close to actress maintained that Kangana is the highest paid actress in Bollywood.
“She has charged her market price for 'Rangoon' and 'Simran' not because she wants money but because she is very clear that actresses must be paid with heroes on par. She is willing to drop projects that don't pay her the market price,” the report stated.
